Race Day Information (Participants)

The Salem Scramble is almost here! We can’t wait to welcome over 500 racers to the SHS athletic fields this Saturday, Sept. 26.

Because registration is completely full, heats are finalized and no changes, refunds, or cancellations can be made. This allows us to keep the event running smoothly and on schedule for everyone.

Key Event Details

  • Heat Times & Arrival: Check your child’s assigned heat time below (heat numbers are listed in your original confirmation email). Arrive at the Registration Tent at least 30 minutes before your heat time to check in, collect your bib and t-shirt, and get to the warm-up corral.

  • Parking: Park in the student lot adjacent to the SAU building or on the north side of the high school. Review the Parking & Registration Map below before you arrive.

  • Weather & Gear: The event is rain or shine (unless weather becomes dangerous). Racers will get wet and muddy! While handwashing stations are available at the finish line, we strongly recommend bringing a full change of clothes and towels for the ride home.

  • Spectators & Photos: You are welcome to cheer on and photograph your child from designated watch areas in the middle of the fields. Please stay outside taped course boundaries for safety.

  • Food & Fun: Come early or stick around after the race! Enjoy vendor and community service booths offering games, food, and free activities. The event concludes around 1:00 p.m.
