How to Change Your Language Settings
ParentSquare Language Settings
ParentSquare will automatically translate messages sent from Salem schools/teachers into your preferred language.These settings have been imported from our student information system, however, if you wish to modify this you can do so within your ParentSquare account.
After creating your ParentSquare account, you can modify a number of settings based on your individual preferences. One of these features allows parents to set their preferred language for receiving messages. Messages sent from the school will automatically be translated into your selected language. Messages you send to the school can be in your native language and will be automatically translated to the native language of the teacher/school.
This setting can be modified by you at anytime. See the instructions in the boxes included on this page for steps to modify language settings on the mobile app and web portal.

On the web portal (computer via web: ParentSquare)
- Sign in and access the home page of your school.
- In the upper right corner, click on your name and select MY ACCOUNT

- Select NOTIFICATIONS from the left-hand menu and change/set your preferred language for all school communications through ParentSquare.

- Save.

After downloading the mobile app and registering your account, follow these steps to change your language settings for ParentSquare messages.
- From the home screen, tap the TRIPLE-BAR icon

- Select ACCOUNT then PREFERENCES

- Select LANGUAGE

- Select your preferred language
