Students under the age of 16 need a Youth Employment Certificate which is completed by their parent/guardian. If the Employment Certificate is completed by a parent/guardian, the school does not need a copy of the certificate. Copies are needed by the employer, the NH Dept. of Labor and the parent/guardian

For Students who are 16 or 17, a letter of permission from a parent or guardian to the employer is all that is needed.
