Woodbury School and the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Salem POWER Program
Welcome to the 2009/2010 edition of the POWER (Positive Ongoing Woodbury Enrichment and Recreation) program. The POWER program is an after school activity program sponsored by the Salem School District and the Salem Boys and Girls Club
As a member of the POWER program your child will have access to the activities held immediately after school that are run by the Woodbury staff. All POWER members may also become members of the Boys and Girls Club, at a reduced rate, and are able to attend all the programs offered by the club. A description of all the activities with their hours and dates of operation, emergency information, and Boys and Girls Club membership forms are included in our POWER packet.
Once your child completes the forms and turns them into the Woodbury School’s main office, they become members for the 2009/2010 school year. Throughout the course of the year we will offer different activities. The students are free to pick and chose the ones they would like to attend. They are not required to attend everyday. Please be sure to complete all of the included forms.
If you have questions regarding activities hosted by the Woodbury School, please contact assistant principal George Murray (893-7055 ext 3141).
POWER packets with complete information, forms, and activity descriptions will be available from the Woodbury main office the week of September 14th.
Activities include but are not limited to:
Homework Club, Builder's Club, Volleyball and Flag Football
Packets in Woodbury's main office contain the most up to date offerings with their dates, times, and locations will be available all year.
