Caitlyn Shea, 11

Varsity Girls Swimming

Alex LaRosa, 12

Varsity Boys Basketball

At the State Meet Junior Caitlyn Shea took 2nd place in the 200 freestyle (2:01.44) and 4th place in the 200 IM (2:22.36).  She also qualified for the Meet of Champions and New Englands.

In an overtime win game against Alvirne, Alex LaRosa scored 40 points, hitting a school record of 9 3-pointers.  In the game against West Alex scored 20 points.

Melissa Higgins, 11

Girls Indoor Track

Jerickson Fedrick, 10

Boys Indoor Track

Junior Melissa Higgins took first place in  the 300m dash (40.93) at the Class L Meet at Dartmouth College.  This is a new Class L record!

Sophomore Jerickson Fedrick took first place in the 55m dash (6.47) at the Class L Meet at Dartmouth College.

Patricia Caiati, 9

Varsity Girls Swimming

Brandon Travaglini, 10

Varsity Ice Hockey

Patricia swam personal best records in 4 events.  She qualifed for States in the 200 IM (3 seconds off her previous time)  She also qualified for States at the Bobcat Invitational in the 500 free (4.5 seconds off); 200 free (4 seconds off), and 100 breast (.11 off)

 

As a sophomore, Brandon is currently on a 4-game scoring streak.  He has been a great addition to the team this year.

Jeffrey Meisser, 11

Varsity Boys Basketball

Freshman Miranda Andrew swam a personal best in both of her events.  She took 1:08.59 off of her 500 free-style record.

Jeff Meisser, 6' Guard, scored 9 points against Winnacunnet in a loss.  The previous week he had 18 points against Spaulding.  In the last two games he has hit 7 three pointers and played good defense grabbing 4 rebounds and 2 steals.

Nicholas Miles, 12

Varsity Boys Gymnastics

Senior Taylor Buatti has consistently placed on the beam and floor and has provided positive team leadership to the team.

Senior Nicholas Miles tied the school record on the vault.

Brett Pittera, 11

Varsity Wrestling

Jackie swam state qualifying times in the 500 fee and the 100 back last week.  She also swam a personal best in the 500 free, taking more than 3 seconds off her previous time.

Brett Pittera wrestles in the 145 lbs weight bracket.  He scored 3-0 for the week upping his record to 15-3, including 8 pins for the season.

Varsity Boys Basketball

 

 

 

Josh had an excellent record during the Lowell Holiday   tournament for a freshman, including beating 2 Massachusetts state placers.  His last loss was a 5-2 decision to Senior John Hall of Concord.

In the Christmas tournament, Alex scored 19 points, 25 points, and 37 points.  He was named to the prestigious Christmas Tournament All-Star team.

Wrestling

Tori tied the school indoor high jump record at the season opening meet jumping 5'2".

John has an early season record of 11-1 including 8 pins so far this year.  John is also a straight A student and is in the process of obtaining his Eagle Scout.

Sarah Raye, 12

Varsity Boys Basketball Point Guard

 

 

 

Sarah earned a career high 14 points and 5 steals against Nashua North resulting in a 51-34 victory.  Sarah's defense whole heartedly contributes to varsity GBB's 30 points defensive points per game average. 

As a sophomore point guard, Jon was called into action when Senior Alex LaRosa got his second foul.  Jon played 16 minutes and he scored 3 points, had 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals while playing stellar defense.
